Getting around Singapore is easy. The transport within the country is mainly land-based with an efficient rail and bus system. It is well integrated and convenient to travel, the communication networks are world-class.
Singapore also has many links to the rest of the world. There are two bridges which link Singapore to Malaysia. Singapore sea-port is the world’s busiest transhipment port and a terminal for cruise ships. Singapore Changi International Airport serves more than 100 airlines operating 6,400 weekly flights connecting Singapore to over 250 cities in about 60 countries and territories worldwide. The airport has three passenger terminals with a total annual handling capacity of 66 million passengers and next Terminal 4 is on the way, to be ready by year 2017.
